Serving 450 Joplin students in kindergarten through fifth grade, Stapleton Elementary is located on the south side of Joplin near Interstate 44. Stapleton is recognized as being a Operation College Bound school. Stapleton boasts an award-winning Nature Center complete with flower and vegetable beds – a wonderful place where Stapleton students enjoy working, reading, and learning. In addition to classroom instruction, Stapleton students also have other exciting learning opportunities in art, music, computer technology, library skills, and physical education.
